About Melissa

Hi there, I'm Melissa! A loving and caring babysitter who loves spending time playing and spending time with kids, with 4 years of paid childcare experience from working at a daycare, where I worked as a teacher assistant and assistant director, caring for children ages 0-12. When I'm working with kids, arts and crafts, outdoor adventures, cooking/baking, reading, movies, and Montessori-inspired play are a big part of the day. I'm big on encouraging independence and creativity, because I think kids thrive when they feel trusted to figure things out in their own way. Outside of caring for kids, I'm studying Psychology, to understand how little minds work. Also, some little facts about me, I'm a kid at heart! I love watching movies, go to the park, read, shop, try new food places and also travel.
