About Melissa

The joy of seeing a child learn and grow drew me to childcare. My positive experiences babysitting, combined with supporting friends as a single mother myself, solidified my passion for nurturing young minds. I'm patient, calm, friendly, and approachable, which helps me connect with children aged newborn to 11 years old. I enjoy playing board games and puzzles with kids. I'm very comfortable enforcing household rules. I'm also happy to assist with cooking, meal preparation, and light housekeeping. I have at least 3 years many years ago of experience and prefer caring for one child at a time. I currently do watch my friends grandson as needed overnight so she can work. I always communicate clearly with parents about their child's day. I'm excited to bring my skills and caring nature to your family and help your child thrive.
