Hi! My name is Melissa and I'm 32. I have been doing aide/CNA work for 14 years (working with elderly). I have experience assisting with ADLs, such as bathing, feeding, changing, transferring, etc. I have a Bachelor's degree in Social Work and my CPR certification is up to date. I currently work full time at Torrance State Hospital, Monday-Friday (8-4). I have experience working with mental health and intellectual disabilities as well. I worked as an aide for 4 years at Torrance (with the elderly patients). For the past 2 years I have been working as a social worker but do still help on the floor when a patient needs assistance with bathing and toileting.
