About Melissa

I am an enthusiastic and thoughtful nanny offering 20+ years experience with a passion for educating and caring for young children in a way that promotes independence, mindfulness and compassion. I am currently a full charge Nanny/Household Manager for a very busy family of 5. The children are 10, 13 and 15 years old. My previous position lasted 2 years. I was a full charge nanny caring for 3 children (newborn, 3 and 6 years old). I traveled with the family often and stayed overnight with the children while their parents were away. I have worked with children age newborn to 18 years; including multiples and special needs. In 2011 I earned a Montessori Teaching diploma for birth to age 3. I have taught in Preschool, Infant and Toddler classrooms. I also taught art part time for several years. In my free time I enjoy knitting, baking, hiking and camping.
