About Melissa

Hello! My name is Melissa, and I'm a warm, compassionate person who enjoys working with people in many capacities, but I'm super drawn to working in Companion care. I feel the relationships, and friendships that can develop in companion care enrich my life in the best ways. I'm reliable, compassionate and a real team player in any task. I love keeping busy. I'm also positive, a self starter, generally happy and a kind person. I've just relocated back home to LA from New York where I've been studying psychoanalysis for many years, seeing my own patients while under supervision. Additionally, I'm 52, and for many years before moving to New York I was an English Professor at Marymount University in Palos Verdes.
