About Melissa

I'm a recent transplant to S. Jordan from Texas. Nurturing children comes naturally to me, I have 4 grown sons, granddaughter, and a grandson on the way. ( Don't let the "grandma" fool you, I'm active and with age comes respect, work ethic, dependability, patience and experience!) My passion lies in fostering growth and creating a positive impact on young lives. I ran a childcare facility for 10+ yrs., along with a cleaning business as my kids were growing up. I am patient, calm, and friendly, and I enjoy playing outdoors/indoors with the kids. I'm comfortable caring for 2 children and have some college experience. I'm comfortable enforcing household rules, can assist with cooking, housekeeping, travel and swimming supervision. I have First Aid/CPR/AED certifications. I have a clean background/driving record and I'm open to drug testing. I love dogs, but I'm allergic to cats , unfortunately. Id love to fill up my Tuesday schedule and the afternoon of my Thursdays!
