About Melissa

As a Montessori educator for over two decades, I've been dedicated to nurturing young minds and creating enriching experiences for children. My passion lies in fostering growth and making a positive impact on their lives. I hold a college degree, American Montessori Society certification to teach ages 3-6 & grades 1-6, am First Aid and CPR Training certified, and have completed Early Child Development Coursework. My approach is patient, calm, creative, and friendly. I enjoy exploring nature, board games, and educational games. I am comfortable caring for up to four children aged 0-11, and I am very comfortable enforcing household rules. I offer assistance with cooking, carpooling, travel, and swimming supervision. I communicate with parents through verbal updates and text messages, always respecting their preferred method. I look forward to bringing my experience and enthusiasm to your family.
