My name is Melissa. I've been in the childcare field for 30 years. I started out babysitting and working as an assistant in a daycare in high school. I continued my education at a Community College and became teacher certified. I am infant & toddler lead teacher qualified & pre-k teacher qualified. I have also done a few years of home daycare as I have my own children. I have ample experience in every age group infancy- kindergarten I have run my own class in every age group. I love children. I love teaching them through music & art. I am very creative and enjoy coming up with new ways to teach & play. I have spent the last 10 years being a nanny & really have enjoyed the chance to have one on one. My own children are older now & I feel this would be a perfect time for me to nanny. Missy was our nanny for almost 3.5 years, and started when my son was 6 months old and my daughter was almost 2.5 years old. Missy is kind and loving, took our kids out in the community to different playgrounds, the library, special events and different activities, and always had creative art projects for them to do at home. Our kids loved their time with her and we are very thankful to have found her as a nanny! I would highly recommend Missy to any family seeking care.
