UPDATE FOR SUMMER During the school year, I'm available for more consistent after-school support and family care. During the summer, however, my availability becomes much more limited since my 8-year-old daughter is home with me full time and I also teach private swim lessons. At this time, I'm primarily available for: • occasional/date night care • backup care • or a daytime family comfortable with a more flexible, community-oriented summer rhythm - including outings, parks, libraries, playdates, swimming, etc., with my daughter alongside us. Melissa is a caring, kind, and genuine individual. We hired her to care for our son after school a few days a week, and we couldn’t be happier. Our son already loves her and her daughter. Melissa communicates clearly and efficiently. She is direct, thoughtful, and very empathetic. She truly understands how stressful it can be for parents to find someone they trust to care for their children. She actively engages with our son, plays with him, and plans fun, age-appropriate activities that he really enjoys. She also does a great job sending updates and keeping us informed. So far, we have been extremely happy with the care she provides for our 4-year-old, and I would absolutely recommend her.
