About Melissa

I'd describe my personality as kind, patient and optimistic. I love working with kids because I genuinely just do. My career goal is to be a pediatrician. This was a no brainer as I love helping others and I love kids. I'm looking for a job that gives me more hands on experience with children and that can fit into my schedule. I work as a medical assistant at a hospital and I also work in the military. I started working with kids when I was 21 as a paid job for my mom's friend's daughter. It started as a favor, then she hired me to be on a regular basis. They then moved to a different state which caused that to cease. I also helped my cousin with her son as a favor. In my spare time, I like to watch shows or read. You should know that despite my goofy and bubbly attitude, I know that there is genuinely a time and place for things. If a situation arises, I know when to be serious.
