About Melissa

I'd describe my personality as sweet, fun and dependable. I enjoy working with kids because I am a natural caregiver and kids are just fun and don't take things too seriously. In my full time job I work with adults - I enjoy a break from that every now and again! I'm looking for a part-time job that would incorporate me into the family dynamic! I want your kids to know me as a role model but also someone who is fun to be around. I started working with children about 18-years ago. I was a nanny for a 2-month-old little girl. I had various jobs throughout high school working for the local YMCA as a dance instructor, in the childcare center and as a birthday party host. I volunteered as a middle school dance coach. In my spare time, I like to be outdoors with my dogs, Charley and Emma. I enjoy traveling and attending local events in Charlotte. I also volunteer for Big Brothers Big Sisters. My skills include outdoor play, education, coordination and logistics
