About Melissa

I have 10 years of experience with children. A young mother myself but kids have flown the nest. Love babies and how funny and curious children can be. I was a former kindergarten teacher and now work remotely as an independent legal consultant in Higher Education. I have a large immediate family with several nieces and nephews who all range from the ages of 1-week-old to 22 years old. I am close with my entire family as I think that is huge part of a child's development along with healthy boundaries. I understand how important it is to want a trusting and nurturing caregiver for your child but also understand that in the era we live in our adult lives are so busy and it usually takes two incomes to support a family and run a smooth household. Engaging with children and giving them your time especially having that one-on-one time is one of the best gifts you can give a child. Valuing family dynamics and being a good role model helps shape children as they grow older.
