About Melissa

I started taking care of seniors doing in home health care 12 years ago. I then earned my CNA license through MI and began working in various skilled nursing facilities. Although I do no have a current certificate, I continued my career with seniors in other ways. My most recent experience was for a senior living community as the activity director. Most of my time was spent in the memory care building, where I gained tremendous amounts of knowledge on how to care for the elderly population that is dealing with memory care problems. I am able to easily connect with these seniors, making it easier to understand the wants and needs that may not be verbally expressed. I believe that every human deserves to live a fulfilling life and seniors are no different. My passion is to create safe and healthy relationships so I can assist the elderly population by providing medical needs as well as the understanding and companionship that is essential to living a healthy life.
