I currently am a companion for an elderly gentleman once a week. I'll drive him to any appointments he may have, or we just plan outings to visit the library, a cafe, have lunch, or browse in stores. We also go on walks and enjoy the conversations. I also visit my adult special needs sister, to assist with her mail, grocery list/meal planning, and any organizational needs. I'll take her shopping, run errands, go for a walk, or enjoy a meal together. I am very kind, patient, and friendly. I enjoy helping others in need and meeting new people. There's always something new to learn and share!

Melissa has been part of our family care team for 18 mos. She is a wonderful companion to my senior husband: engaging, cheerful, patient with his questions, attentive, kind, and laughs at his jokes. She accompanies him on walks and to doctor appointments, and finds appropriate outings and activities for him. A good driver with a very clean car, Melissa has blended into our family home comfortably and amiably. She is also great with our small dog--taking him for walks, playing, feeding, and snuggling. You are lucky if she has some time in her schedule for your older or special needs person.
