About Melissa

Hi! I'm Melissa, an experienced caregiver with over six years of hands-on childcare experience in New York City. I've worked with families as both a nanny and babysitter, building strong relationships with parents and children alike. My passion for nurturing young minds and supporting families has been a constant throughout my career. Currently, I am pursuing my Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) with a focus on maternal and pediatric health, set to graduate in January 2026. My experience also includes working as a postpartum doula, where I assist new mothers and families during the critical postpartum period, offering emotional and practical support. My approach to caregiving is rooted in communication, empathy, and safety. I am CPR certified, and I'm also fluent in both English and conversational Spanish, making me adaptable to a wide range of families.
