About Melinda

I'm originally from California and moved to Florida two years ago. When I first moved here I worked for a family in Weston, two kids ages 8 and 13 and enjoyed it very much. I ended up having to leave for personal reasons and then switched my career and became a licensed health agent. I now own my own business but it has slowed down so I'm looking for work since the holidays are coming up and I'm open to starting with a new family as well. I'm passionate about nurturing the growth and development of young minds. My patient, creative, and friendly nature allows me to connect with children and create a safe and stimulating environment. I am comfortable enforcing household rules and enjoy playing a variety of games with children, from outdoor sports to educational games. With First Aid and CPR training, I'm prepared to handle emergencies. I'm willing to assist with cooking, meal preparation, carpooling, light housekeeping, and supervising swimming activities.
