I am practically an empty nester, my youngest is driving now. Your kids will have fun when I'm around, because nothing is better than playing, and getting lots of attention. Of course if that's not what they need, then I will meet their needs. I was a preschool teacher, adopted a child through foster care, even taught some classes around caring for kids with attachment issues. I have lots of training, and have been a medical momma for my kids with physical disabilities, so not much scares me. Kids grow up so fast, and now I have perspective and experience to enjoy the age and stage that they are at and understand my role is to be one more fun and positive person in their day, not to be the parent. I am happy to do some light housekeeping like dishes, counters, laundry and sweeping or vacuuming the floors when the kids don't need my full attention, but my priority will always be keeping your child safe and having fun while you are away,
