Linda cared for our 5 year old, 2.5 year old and 1 year old over multiple weekends in Tahoe and we loved having her! She was very attentive/engaging with the kids and we completely trust her with the kids. Highly recommend!

We visited Tahoe for a family wedding and had Linda watch our boys - 3 1/2 years old and 11 months old.  This was my first time using Care.com and I was very nervous to leave the kids with someone I hadn’t met before, but Linda put my mind at ease.  She was absolutely wonderful with the children and they had a lot of fun playing together.  Linda created a calm environment for the kids, prioritized their safety (especially when staying at an Airbnb property), fed them dinner and got them ready for bed without any issues.  I wouldn’t hesitate to have Linda watch the kids again and highly recommend her! 

Melinda was wonderful with our 8 month old, playing with her all day and getting her naps and meals in. Reliable and flexible when we wanted to extend last minute. 

Linda was wonderful! We live full time in Tahoe and hope to have her watch our little one again soon! 

Linda is the best. We had the best trip because of Linda. She was terrific with the kids, watching our 2.75yr old and 5yr old nephew while we skied. Linda was communicative, prompt, flexible, and the kids loved their time with her. We will miss you until our next trip to Tahoe!

I have a 1 year old and needed a babysitter in the tahoe area for when we are up here and we found her and she was great with him. Very professional and experienced, I have since hired her and she is my go to babysitter for when I'm up in Tahoe.

Melinda (Linda) was amazing! Our family was headed to Tahoe for a ski trip for a few days. I was really overwhelmed and hesitant about hiring a babysitter that wasn't a direct referral, especially while we were on a mountain with possibly limited cell service. I read different bios and reviews on Care.com and Linda stuck out to me.  I had a phone interview with her and I instantly felt at ease with her warm and genuine interest in getting to learn more about our kids and family, all while sharing her background on her.

We had Linda watched our 20 Month old son while we went skiing with our older son. She was great to double check day before on final details. She was punctual, proactive and great with our busy little guy. We were staying in a place that wasn't baby-proof and Linda was "on it!" with helping keep him entertained and occupied. We will absolutely hire Linda again the next time we make it to the Tahoe area.

Melinda was amazing with my 11 month old baby girl! This was our first time hiring a sitter from care.com so I was very nervous but immediately after meeting Melinda, I felt so much better. We hired her while we were in Tahoe so that me and my husband could go skiing during the days. You can tell she truly loves children and has their safety as top priority. Our little girl is very shy with new people but she took too Melinda right away. My favorite thing was that even though we left screens for her to keep our little girl busy, she chose to get down on her level in the floor and work on crawling, standing and walking. She was so creative with play and did more than I ever expected. I would highly recommend her to other families and will call her any time we're are back in Tahoe.

Melinda is amazing. She was so warm with both of my kids from the minute she met them, and they opened right up to her as well. She's punctual, flexible, accommodating and kind. She helped me with errands, school pick up, putting my baby to sleep and meal time and clean up. She also worked with my older son on his reading, and I saw an immediate improvement. I would absolutely hire her again!

Linda has been wonderful with our 2 years and 9 months old daughter. Our daughter had not really had much experience with any other caretakers besides myself and my husband, she is very reserved with other people, but she warmed up to Linda very quickly and didn't protest us leaving at all. Linda is very punctual and dependable, kind and patient. From what I have observed, she has a great way of being very friendly, yet keeping the little on track. I  would happily give a glowing review to anyone looking to hire Linda.

Linda is wonderful - great communication, punctual and most importantly our very reserved 2 year old loved spending time with her. Linda has a warm demeanor and a nice way of playing around yet making sure that the little one also helps to clean up after play, which we really appreciated. We certainly will book Linda again and would gladly give a glowing recommendation to other parents. 

I feel so lucky to have met Linda! My one year old son lit up as soon as he saw her for the very first time and they had a blast together. We haven't had many nights where some one else put him to bed for us and Linda did an amazing job. She is very communicative, kind, patient, gentle, and you can tell she is no doubt a very loving parent herself! We will definitely hire her again! I am especially grateful that she was so patient and loving with our wacky cat and dog who insist on following you everywhere. Would 100% trust her to care for the whole crew any time.
