About Melinda

I have a lot of experience with pets, especially dogs. I got my first family dog at age 4, and had not been without a dog until 2023, when I unfortunately lost my Gurdy. My primary job as a mental health therapist allows for me to maintain work life balance and have an open schedule as well as partially working from home. Because of the demands of my primary career, I find being around dogs and cats really helps distract me from these demands and provides self care and fun. I have much experience apart from personal. Professionally, I have worked in a dog daycare and boarding facility, Rover, Wag!, and several different local pet sitting business throughout the years. I am open to walks, check ins, and overnight stays for both cats and dogs. I also currently have two cats at home and have had pet cats in various parts of my life. Between my former dog, and my two cats, I very much understand the anxiousness of travel, so I will provide as much reassurance as you need.
