About Melinda

I have taught Early Childhood Education for 25 years. I have 20 years experience in preschool and 5 years in Kindergarten. I am very passionate about Early Childhood Education and providing early learning opportunities for young children. I am Orton Gillingham trained for Pre-K-2 and will hold my fidelity license at the end of the summer. I had 30 hours of training in Hill for Literacy, with this training I had learned explicit and concise instructional reading routines. My training and experience in Early Childhood has made my teaching approach, flexible, fun, multi-sensory, and concise. My lessons in person will include a phonics screener to see where your child's strengths are and we can build from there. I am trained in Orton Gillingham and I have other explicit learning routines to help students .
