About Melea

Hi! My name is Melea, pronounced muh-lee-uh, or you can call me Melly! I am an actor and musician and I live in Washington Heights. Regarding my experience, I grew up with a sister 6 years younger than me and spent most of my childhood and high-school years caring for her. I also spent multiple summers as a camp counselor, working with kids ages 5 to 13. I taught them music, played games, and kept them entertained :) I also have extensive experience as a math tutor for kids of all ages. I love working with kids because they are so playful, honest, and curious, and it means a lot to me to support them and protect them so they can continue being those things.
