Hello! My name is Melba, and I am a caring, responsible, and experienced nanny looking for a new family to support starting in August.

Melba has done an excellent job helping our family.  She is reliable, punctual and communicates well.  She assists with household tasks such as washing dishes, making beds and doing the kids laundry. 
 She also assisted in picking kids up from school and taking them to sports or other activities.  
Our children are now older and more independent so we no longer require nanny services but are grateful for her support and would recommend her to a family looking for a nanny. 



Melba has been our nanny for four years.  She is outstanding and we (kids and I) love her.  She works great with the children getting them to and from various events, keeping them on-task with homework and chores, and making sure they "get along".  She is punctual, dependable, and communicates well with me and my ex-wife.  I would hire her again in a second.  I am using her less and less as my oldest has gotten her drivers license and my schedule freeing up significantly.  I give her my highest recommendation.  

My entire family loves and cherishes Melba.  She has worked for us, full-time, for 4.5 years until now, when we are moving out of town. She helped our family in so many ways . . . she is so much more than a babysitter, she's like a second mother to the kids.
Some examples of the care we received from Melba:
 - keeping the baby happy, clean, healthy, or even extra cuddles and attention when he was fussy
 - helping the elementary aged kids before and after school
 - we took fewer days off of work because Melba could be with the older kids if they were home sick from school
 - dancing and singing with the kids . . . playing and teaching all the time
 - getting in the pool to play with the kids
 - daily outings to the park or library
 - attending and actively engaging with ECI therapy for two of our kids - one for feeding issues, the other for speech therapy 
 - packing lunches, breakfasts for the kids, introducing her homemade Colombian food to our kids

Melba does the extra things for my kids to make them feel special by doing their hair in current styles and braids to helping with their homework and practicing Spanish.  She has amazing patience and a kind heart for all the kids in her care. 

Melba is wonderful!  She is prompt, kind, and professional. My children adore her!

Melba was referred by another sitter of ours and helped out last minute. She's since been a reliable option for us.

Melba has been my housekeeper, nanny and dog walker for over two years. She is prompt, reliable and efficient. Most importantly she is safe. She delivered my daughter from school to various activities throughout Houston and always got to the destination safely. She exercised our two large dogs every day and she kept our house clean and our laundry washed. Unfortunately, we are moving away from Houston so we no longer need her services. I would recommend her to anyone without hesitation.
