About Melany

Hello! My name is Melany . I am 21 years old and currently live in Middletown, CT. I am a recent UConn graduate and am looking for a job for the summer and fall. I will be back at UConn in the winter for their accelerated nursing program! I am interested in the pediatric field, hopes to find a job where I can help aid in a child's growth and caregiving! I would also like to note that although I lack paid experience, I do have a great amount of experience overall. In highschool, I use to work at the Park and Rec camp over the summers and would care for 5-10 children ages 2-5. I also would babysit for PTO meetings at our town's elementary school and would care for 10-14 children at once. I also have helped in raising my younger brother who is now 9 years old. During my last year at UConn, I had a great opportunity to take a class called: Husky Reads. Every Wednesday we would travel to Manchester Early learning center and teach kids aged 2-5 about the importance of nutrition.
