About Melanie

I am a caring, reliable, and patient person who loves working with children and helping families feel supported. My experience in aquatics and school settings has taught me how to stay calm, communicate well, and create a safe and positive environment for kids. I enjoy building trust with both children and parents while making sure everyone feels comfortable and cared for. I am dependable, hardworking, and always bring a positive attitude. I started working with kids when I was 18 at a summer camp and since then I've been working at a afterschool program ages 5-11. In my spare time, I like to express my creativity doing nail art. I love to read and write my own short stories and I've been teaching myself how to cook.
