About Melanie

Childcare has been a constant throughout my life, most significantly as an on and off long-term nanny to three (including twins, all starting at 6 months), plus time at multiple preschools (including Montessori) and various other childcare roles spanning 18 years. I hold a bachelor's in Global Studies (minor in Educational Psychology) and a master's in Public Health, plus I'm CPR/First Aid certified. I'm currently a stay-at-home parent to a toddler (25 months) and I'm looking to offer flexible childcare to other families, with my child present. I'm open to hosting! My home is conveniently located and very toddler-friendly (indoor gym, Montessori kitchen, fenced outdoor space, low-accessible furniture, books and toys galore). Our household is vegan and low-fragrance/low-toxin (filtered water and air, natural materials, no shoes inside). I'm happy to accommodate different schedules, share references and talk through what would work for you!
