About Melanie

I am known for creating a positive, safe, and energetic environment for children. Previously, I nannied two children (6 and 10 y. o.) who had been in foster care. I have experience working on social skills and consistent boundaries. I prioritize intentional communication and have experience working under a child psychologist from my last nannying job. I worked for the federal government, NOAA, as a marine educator for grades k-12 so I pass a federal background check and I have both conventional and unconventional (outdoor preschool) teaching experience. With over a decade of teaching experience, I truly enjoy the process of teaching young minds. I have degrees in both the arts and the sciences so you can feel certain that your child will receive the well rounded care and help they need and deserve.
