About Melanie

I have been babysitting since I was 13 years old. I grew up babysitting my younger brother and also babysitting a few of the younger kids in the neighborhood. When I was in high school, I also babysat for a few families in our local community. I continued to babysit part time throughout college and graduate school. Most recently, I went on an international trip with a few cousins to help babysit their 3-year-old daughter and 8-month-old son. I am pursuing a doctoral degree in clinical psychology, so I am familiar with human development and child psychology. I consider myself a fun, playful, easygoing yet firm, and vivacious babysitter. Since I am a graduate student, my schedule is variable although I almost always have availability during the weekend.
