About Melanie

Melanie has been working for our family for the last 9 months, and has been taking care of our daughter since she was only 5 months old. Melanie's been with us through sleep training to introducing solids to learning to crawl / stand / walk and everything in between. When Melanie first started working for us, my husband and I were both working remotely, and we were also living with my parents to get extra help during my maternity leave. Melanie handled having 4 adults in the house with different opinions with grace, and now she has become one of the family. Melanie genuinely loves our daughter like her own, and our daughter loves her right back -- Melanie can make her giggle like no other! Melanie always tries to give 110%, and is full of energy, fun, creative, patient, kind and flexible. She is a true full-service nanny: she learned how to cook the homemade, organic foods that we wanted our daughter to eat, and she's always coming up with creative arts & crafts projects to do with my daughter. She's also gone above and beyond the duties of just caregiving for the baby, and has helped out our family in so many ways -- we recently moved out of state, and she not only agreed to stay on with us, but helped us through the move, with unpacking and setting up the new house. Melanie even came with us to my brother's wedding out of state and also came with us on vacation (when we took the baby on her first flight). We are putting our daughter in daycare in January, which is why Melanie is looking for new position. But we'll forever be grateful for all the love and care she has shown our daughter, and hope to have her be a part of the rest of our lives!
