About Melanie

Hi! I am a Miami native, however I lived many years in both Europe and South America. I have worked around the world as well as here in another industry, however my work with children began when my daughter was young (she is now a young adult studying abroad). I have worked with all ages of children up to 18 years through providing child care, teaching and working closely with youth groups. I especially enjoy every minute of witnessing and being a part of children's emotional development growth. I have also learned tremendously from children, as they have so much to teach us. I believe in involving children with hands-on experiential activities, both indoor and outdoor. I am a non-smoker and I am very fit, with no problem lifting up to 50 lbs as well as getting down to floor level to play. I believe in open daily communication with parents, whether in person or via text messaging. I am very organized and can schedule multiple activities on a daily basis, along with light housekeeping.
