I'm a 46yr old female who absolutely LOVES spending time with the elderly. I have been a Caregiver my entire adult life, working/assisting with multiple different health related issues (cancer, dementia, feeding tubes, and all stages of palliative care) etc.... I enjoy listening to stories and the way things were "back in the day". I would have been a straight A student in history if I could have learned from the elderly instead of miswritten books. Having the ability to make someone smile and giggle doesn't hurt either. They say Laughter is the best medicine, so I will go out of my way to get even just 1 little laugh.
