About Melanie

Hi families, My name is Melanie and I'm currently looking for a long term nanny job but am also open to occasional jobs as well. I'll be a freshman in college in the fall majoring in Psychology with a minor in child development. My classes will be online until next fall (2025) when I will be attending the University of Minnesota in person. Childcare is something i'm very passionate about and is something I plan on doing in my career. In my free time I love hanging out with my friends and family, and love spending outdoors! I'm outgoing and energetic, while also being responsible and engaging. I hold certifications in CPR and First Aid in both adults/children and Infants, ensuring I'm well-equipped to handle emergencies. I worked the last 3 summers as a lifeguard so I am Very comfortable and well trained in my certifications. I have a car and a clean driving record so transportation isn't an issue, an am also comfortable driving kids around. I am also comfortable with pets.
