About Melanie

Hi! My name is Melanie. I am originally from Louisville, but moved to Lexington for school. I am a senior undergraduate student at the University of Kentucky studying Speech-Language Pathology and Linguistics. The main reason why I chose this path is because I would love to be a speech therapist working with the pediatric population! I love spending time with kids and seeing the world through their eyes. I have 6+ years of childcare experience, with children 12 months old to 12 years old. I have reliable transportation for afterschool pickups and extracurriculars. I also can help with light cleaning around the house and Cooking/Meal Preparation. I know how important it is to create a safe and nurturing environment for your little ones. I always make sure to prioritize their safety while keeping things exciting and fun.
