About Melanie

Hi! My name is Melanie and I am a 3k assistant teacher. I have also worked in after school programs serving children aged 1-5 and led multiple summer camp groups of toddlers and preschoolers. I really enjoy working with this age group as I'm used to managing routines, keeping kids engaged through play and activities, and helping them feel comfortable and safe. I love doing simple crafts, play-based learning, and just creating a fun, calm environment for them. I'm patient, reliable, and very hands-on. My goal is always to make sure kids feel comfortable, happy, and cared for while also giving parents peace of mind. I also have 2 years of prior experience working with middle schoolers so I am also happy to help out with any older siblings! I'm available for evening (after 5:30pm), overnight, and weekend care
