About Melanie

Melanie was our nanny for almost 4 years to three of our children, currently ages 7.5 and 5.5 and 14 months. She joined us in 2020 when the bigger kids were 4 and 2, and the newest one was born in 2023. Over that time, Melanie became an important part of our family, who we cherish deeply. She is one of the kindest, most hard working, and genuine people we've met. She engaged with our kids in the best way possible - sports, reading, library, pool, arts/crafts; No activity was off the table. Her energy and desire to create a positive, safe, loving environment came through in how she spoke to both of us as parents as well as the kids. There are not enough positive things my husband and I can say about Melanie. Melanie has a huge heart, and you know from every conversation that you have with her that she genuinely cares and wants the best for you. Melanie is friendly, understanding, loving, generous and compassionate. We are so grateful that we had the opportunity to have Melanie in our lives. She has a calming presence about her, both for our kids, but also for us as parents. We were able to have open, honest conversations about issues and challenges that can arise when caring for children, and we always felt that Melanie had our kids' best interests at heart. Melanie's initiative and work ambition was unmatched. If the kids were busy, she would find ways to contribute to the household - cleaning, laundry, etc. Melanie was always saying how she wanted to be helpful to us in any way she could. Overall, we love Melanie, and would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a loving caretaker for their kids, and a true friend, and support system for any parent. Our kids feel the same - they love Melanie and think of her as family. Melanie and the baby have such a special relationship. Our bigger kids were out of the baby phase when Melanie joined us in 2020, but it's been a joy to watch the baby light up when Melanie walked through the door each day. Every house needs a Melanie to keep things running smoothly!
