Hi! Im Melanie! I'm someone who has always felt at home caring for children. What began as helping raise my younger sisters grew into my own neighborhood babysitting business, and today I'm a full-time daycare teacher while studying Early Childhood Education in college. Every step has only reaffirmed that this is where I feel most fulfilled. I'm naturally curious, grounded, and a little artistic at heart. I love painting, sculpting, writing poetry, making music, reading, hiking, and finding beauty in the little things. We absolutely loved Melanie!! Our daughter had known her from the daycare she worked at, and when Melanie started coming over to babysit on weekends, we already knew she was someone we could trust. She is seriously one of the sweetest and most nurturing people we’ve ever met. You can just tell how much she loves kids by the way she interacts with them. She’s so patient, understanding, kind, and genuinely cares about making them feel comfortable and happy. We’ve only known her for about 5 1/2 months, but honestly, it feels like we’ve known her so much longer. She’s not only amazing with our daughter, but she’s also the kind of person you can actually talk to and feel comfortable around. Melanie is truly such a wonderful person, and we would recommend her to any family in a heartbeat!
