Hi I'm Melanie. I'm a patient nanny with 3 years of experience. I've cared for her children as the whole as newborns to teens. My caregiving approach is inspired by Montessori and gentle parenting principles. I believe children learn best when they are treated with respect and given age-appropriate independence. Rather than simply saying "no," I take the time to explain boundaries and the natural consequences of choices, helping children develop critical thinking skills, confidence, and emotional understanding. I also place a strong emphasis on respecting children's boundaries and feelings while teaching kindness, communication, and mutual respect. I strive to create an environment where children feel heard, valued, and empowered to express themselves. Whether we're exploring through play, engaging in educational activities, spending time outdoors, or working on life skills, my goal is to support each child's unique development while making every day fun, enriching, and meaningful.
