I work as a Special Education Aide at Elementary and love my job. I have 29 years of service within the education system. I am an active 51-year-old and moved to Bellevue after getting married in 2021. My son is 25 and has become such an amazing young man. I am a stepmom to 4 adult children. I also became a grandma to my husband's 8 yr old granddaughter. My husband and I like to stay active. I also worked at the After School program. including summer camp. It was good experience, however, it was very confining due to the enrollment. I am First Aid/CPR certified. I really enjoy working with children PreK-6th grade. Keeping them active, crafts on rainy days, helping with homework.

I’ve worked with Melanie for a few years and have observed her passion for taking care of not only the children she is directly responsible for, but all the children she interacts with. She is dependable and professional in all aspects of her job at school. She is one of the best support staff members we have.
