About Melanie

I am a second grade teacher. My school year begins July 10th since we are an extended calendar. My majors are Elementary and Special education & Foreign Language with a concentration in Italian. I pursuing my masters in Instructional Leadership at the moment. I am fluent in English, Italian, and Spanish. I have been working with children for a long time. I lived in Italy for 6 years where I was a mentor for an after school program: I tutored students and helped them with school work. I lived for shorter periods of time in Ireland, Argentina, and Spain. My experience with kids includes babysitting, tutoring, teaching, after school clubs, and homework help programs. I have 3 younger siblings and 5 younger cousins which I have babysitter from a young age. I consider myself to be a very caring, energetic, fun, and patient person. I love keeping kids entertained by doing crafts, outdoors, and indoor activities. I am able to provide a safe supervised environment for children.
