About Mei

I started as a caregiver in an Alzheimer's unit. I would help with bathing, oral care, dressing, hygiene, manicures, laundry, cleaning, serving food, and etc. After three months, I was promoted to activity assistant. My job was then focus more on their social life, entertainment, and keeping everybody happy. A year later, I was offered a job as an activity director in a rehab hospital. We threw parties, celebrated holidays, watch tv, read, arts and crafts. After eights years, I decided to stay home with my kids. I recently went back to caregiving. I've come to realize that I miss working with people. I'd describe my personality as fun, hardworking, and creative. I like caring for seniors because they are wise, and most of them are hilarious. I love listening to their stories and achievements in life. In my spare time, I like to plant, exercise, shopping and take care of my pets (dog, tortoise, and three rabbits). One thing you should know about me is, I like to cook.
