About Mehala

Hi! My name is Mehala, I'm 20 years old, I've graduated highschool, and I recently moved to Tulsa. I like working with kids because I think it's nice to see the world from a kids point of view, children are so creative with such big imaginations. I think it's amazing how you can make up so many different activities that are simple in theory but mean the world to a child. I started working with kids from a very young age. I volunteered at a therapeutic riding facility when I was 14 where children and adults with special needs could engage with horses and learn how to ride. I had to stop volunteering there due to the distance of driving and started working for the City of Eustis Parks and Recreation Department. There I worked with children in an after school program where we would help with homework, do activities and games and prioritize safety, as well as cleaning duties at the end of the shift. One thing you should know about me is I have my CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications.
