Hi there! I'm the mother of two amazing young men, one is 32 and just returned to Tulsa from Denver and the other one is 25 and lives with me. Most of my experience is as a mother although I have taken care of friends' children in addition to my aging father who suffered from Parkinsons Disease. My background is in mental health and for the last 20 years I've been working in public relations and communications. Upon realizing that I was no longer fulfilled doing this work, I examined where I might most be needed and what was really missing from my work. I definitely feel strongly that working with children and the elderly is something that I not only want to do, but can bring a wealth of patience, support and careful attention to. I understand what it feels like to have to leave your children or aging relatives with a caregiver and do not take it lightly! I'm happy to answer any questions you may have and look forward to speaking with you.

I have known "Meg" for 32 years. I know her to be one of the kindest, compassionate and caring people I've ever met. She is warm and funny and a very dedicated individual who always looks out for others' needs. She has dedicated many volunteer hours at her local animal shelter providing care, companionship and love to unwanted and lost pets. I have watched her parent 3 children with an incredible fierce love and commitment to their well being. Meg is also a problem solver and very good at both work-arounds and implementing plan b . . . and even c, as needed! She has depth and wisdom that do her credit no matter what age group she is working with. But her ability to connect with children on their level is phenomenal. Therefore, I can confidently recommend Meg as a caregiver for Care.com
