About Meghan

Hello, my name is Meghan! I have worked with children as a babysitter for the past 8 years, and for the past 3 years I have been a Unit Leader at Camp Prov, a summer day camp for children with special needs and disabilities. Working at Camp Prov, I gained experience in working with children of all ages between 2-13, both with and without diagnosis. During the school year, I attend Portland State University as a Junior in Social Work. During my summer and winter breaks, I reside in Edmonds, Washington. I love working with kids, not only because childcare allows me to have fun while learning about their personalities and what activities they like to do, but it can also be rewarding to have made a difference in someone's life whether I am taking a role as their friend, caretaker, or both. I aim to make every child I meet feel understood, accepted, and safe, and for every guardian I work for to feel supported and trusting in choosing me as a secondary caregiver to their child/children.
