About Meghan

I am currently a middle school language arts teacher with over 10 years of teaching experience overall. I am certified as an elementary teacher (grades pre-K through 4), and I have experience teaching second grade, middle school language arts, and a variety of age levels as a special education resource teacher. I graduated from Notre Dame of Maryland in 2017 with a Masters degree and certification as a reading specialist. As a teacher, my goal is to meet each child where they are in regards to their knowledge and to employ engaging and individualized tactics to optimize their learning. I have also completed training for Orton-Gillingham (Yoshimoto), a science based reading program centered on phonics, writing and reading comprehension.
