About Meghan

Hi! I am a 35-year-old independent contractor for a remote recruiting agency in Oregon, but am looking to get involved with the Whitefish community through childcare. I have 7 years of extensive teaching and tutoring experience in elementary and middle school settings. Recently, I relocated from Oregon to Whitefish and am in the process of building a house with my partner. I have flexible hours with my recruiting job, but childcare will have to be part-time. My academic background includes a degree in psychology and art from the University of Vermont, where I nannied a family after school, nurturing their curiosity and fostering their development. I completed my Waldorf Teacher Training program in 2015 and began teaching at the Waldorf School of Bend that fall, where I taught first, second, fourth, fifth, and sixth grade. My spare time is spent outside: backcountry skiing, backpacking, gardening, surfing, mountain biking, and hiking. I am here to help with your kiddo support needs!
