About Megan

I was raised in Oklahoma and Littleton, Colorado. Growing up in Oklahoma and Colorado, we spent a lot of time outdoors- fishing, swimming, biking, skiing and exploring nature. After completing a degree in Finance at Metropolitan State University of Denver, I moved to Los Angeles to experience life in a big city. After a few years in L. A., I missed home so I moved back to Denver to be closer to my family. I have always loved being around children including taking care of my younger brother as well as my 15 younger cousins. I worked at a day-care center throughout high school and babysat the neighborhood children. I hold three teaching licenses which include early childhood, elementary and linguistically and culturally diverse education. Along with my licenses, I have attended the Rocky Mountain Early Childhood Conference for the last four years as well as a reading conference in Vail in 2019. For the last 10 years, I have been an educator in Denver Public Schools. I have taught mu
