I worked with Megan for 2 years for (F.), an elderly woman with dementia and I wholeheartedly recommend her for more care-giving work. Megan was always reliable, punctual, and extremely adept at seeing to F's well being and besides that, she is a delightful woman; cheerful, friendly, and thoughtful. She demonstrated great patience and compassion and commitment. She devised a system and charts to ensure continuity of care and that F would stay hydrated and the we could track her nutrition and moods. Megan was always flexible and accommodating in covering for coworkers to attend special event, sick days and family obligations. The few times she took vacations, she left detailed instructions and clear scheduling carts, ensuring things would go smoothly in her absence. Megan was a buoy to us all as we faced the emotionally exhausting nature of dementia care. She was a valued member of the team and F. was lucky to have her on her side.
