I am a graduate of the University of California, San Diego, where I studied Linguistics and Sociology, and I am currently pursuing a master's degree in Clinical Psychology . Working with children has always been something that brings me tremendous personal satisfaction. I feel that it is essential for both children and adults to learn something new every day and I strive to transmit this passion for learning to the children I care for by utilizing opportunities for teaching in day-to-day activities. I have a passion for the outdoors, and a strong knowledge of environmental biology, geography, and astronomy. I find that children show a lot of excitement in learning about their world. California provides a great domain for outdoor activities such as swimming and hiking, and my background as a camp counselor and lifeguard helps me to integrate these activities into my childcare routine.

Megan has been a life saver for our family! She has been babysitting our son since he was 3 months old (he is now 14 months old and walking). Megan does an amazing job with our son. From putting him down for bedtime so we can go out on a date night -- to playing with him during the day so that I can work from home – and even last-minute emergencies -- we can rely on Megan. She’s great about bringing him to the park and is very active with him both on the playground and playing with his toys in the house. She’s also amazing at enacting our son’s bedtime routine and getting him to sleep (which can be a challenge). Megan is incredibility reliable, hard-working, and resourceful. She is patient, fun, creates a safe environment, and gives us peace of mind. I recommend Megan with no hesitation. Thank you Megan for all you do and more!
