About Megan

I come from a private college-prep school (EL to 12) and received recognition for academic excellence through regular honor roll and NJHS. I earned a scholarship to college, and am earning degrees in psychology and theology. I hope to become a licensed behavioral therapist and counselor with certification as life coach and nutritionist. I have worked overseas for TESOL and have vast cultural insight from visiting foreign nations. I was diagnosed as dyslexic in third grade and attended many tutoring sessions. It is through these years of tutoring that I have learned various skills in order to learn and teach a subject. My strongest academic areas include English and writing, history, geography, algebra, biology, and psychology. I am very patient and kind when working with someone. I consistently encourage the student to become passionate and confident in themselves, knowing that when they put their mind to things they can go far and surpass hurdles!
