About Megan

Hello! My name is Megan and I am a friendly and compassionate provider, looking to help an elderly individual or an adorable kiddo get the best care they deserve! As a Human Development major at Virginia Tech, I gained valuable knowledge regarding child psychology, adult development and aging, with an emphasis on practical application. My experience as a community service case manager, allowed me to work with individuals of all ages find medical, psychiatric, social/emotional, as well as educational assistance. I have also transported clients to appointments, helped with meal preparation, and have been deemed an excellent friend to play cards with! I also cared for my elderly grandfather who had dementia for about 6 months during 2020. His care consisted of bathing, medication management & more. I also have previous work experience as a child care provider for Caterpillar Clubhouse daycare and Blue Ridge Montessori School, both of which are located in Lynchburg VA.
