About Megan

Hi, I'm a recent graduate from Savannah College of Art Design, and I'm home for the next year as I apply for my Master's in Design Anthropology. I'm a design researcher specializing in creating parameters for emerging tech like the Metaverse and AI. I have years of experience teaching private art lessons to students aged 6-12, and I cofounded a high school mentorship program where I mentored over 30 students. I have a talent for helping young students discover their passion for art/design and I excel at setting up vibrant environments that encourage exploration and creative problem solving. Every experience with a student was different because I let them set the topics/areas to be explored, and I prepped the lessons and activities accordingly. I'd describe my personality as supportive, creative, analytical. My students and mentees have described me as someone who "radiates with curiosity" and whose paintings "tell a thousand words."
